Vivian & Nick's Eagles Mere Wedding in The Endless Mountains, Pennsylvania Wedding Photography

This was my very first destination wedding in the gorgeous Endless Mountains of Central Pennsylvania, part of the Appalachian range. I was so happy Vivian asked me to shoot her mountain retreat wedding. My husband and I used to vacation in the same area, just north of Eagles Mere and I was so excited to travel back. I spent my own honeymoon in Dushore and I was so happy to get to explore Eagles Mere a bit before this quaint mountain wedding. The quiet mountain town of Eagles Mere has a beautiful lake,  old Victorian homes and farms overlooking the Endless Mountains. Vivian and Nick rented a small cabin on the outskirts of town and tied the knot in the field out back, under a beautiful birch arch, handmade by the groomsmen.
The two met in College at MICA and decided to get married in Eagles Mere, where Vivian's grandfather owns a cabin. Her family spent summers vacationing there when she was a child.
Nick's family traveled from as far as Texas. Vivian's family traveled from California, Florida and Boston. Guests stayed in private cabins as well as the beautiful Cresmont Inn and the Eagles Mere Inn.
Every detail was just perfect, especially the bouquets and flower arrangements by The Details Matter Florist out of Danville, PA. I thought they did an awesome job with all of the florals and the succulent and fern details were beautiful! The reception was held just across the field under a large wedding tent. The weather was perfect, breezy but sunny and cool in the mountains. Guests enjoyed playing badminton, cornhole and flying kites as the sun set over the mountains. Elizabeth's Bistro of Lewisburg catered the event and I have to say it was some of the best wedding catering I have ever had! The salmon with dill sauce was delicious! Instead of a traditional wedding cake, they served baked fruit tarts. The couple gave out planted succulents as thank you favors to their guests. One of the groomsmen made them custom cornhole boards as their wedding gift and had everyone sign them. I am so happy with how everything turned out, especially lucked out with the sunset that night! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day! Love you guys!
