Megan and Corey's Engagement Session at Prettyboy Reservoir's Hemlock Ravine

After this awesome engagement session, I am even more so excited to shoot Megan and Corey's Pond View Farm wedding next year. Megan saw Kelly and Adam's Pond View wedding photos on facebook and wanted to meet me. I'm so happy because I waited years to book a wedding at that venue and ever since, I have had so many inquiries! Megan and Corey wanted to do their engagement session in a wooded area with water, preferably a river and I knew the perfect spot. The Hemlock Ravine Natural Area at Pretty Boy Reservoir has a gorgeous historic bridge. The Gunpowder River flows through here and is shallow enough to wade in. Corey loves to fish so it was all-around a perfect location for their photos. Megan made a bold move, dying her hair red the day of the engagement session and I'm so glad she took the risk. The color looks amazing and coincidentally matches Corey's shirt (which they claim they did not plan) ;)
I actually have a lot in common with this couple. They have a four year old little boy. I have a four year old little girl. Megan is teaching her son to ride horses, and I am teaching my daughter to ride as well. We all enjoy the country lifestyle and I can't wait to be a part of their farm wedding! Thank you so much for the opportunity and I hope you guys enjoy your photos.
