When I first met Casey to discuss her wedding, we started talking and realized we have so much in common. I instantly felt like she was meant to find me and I was meant to photograph her wedding! Casey is a very talented tattoo artist and Michael is in the military. She told me Michael would be deployed to Cuba shortly after the wedding and I can definitely relate to that. My husband was deployed to Afghanistan two months after our wedding. They wanted a small, intimate ceremony with just immediate family and their closest friends, and they wanted to get hitched before Michael's deployment. Casey got ready at her grandparent's house in Westminster. Their property is gorgeous and partially wooded, which made a great backdrop for Casey's bridal portraits. With little time to plan, Michael's mother decided to host the reception on her beautiful, wooded property in Perry Hall. Casey hand-crafted all of her rustic/fall decor and it turned out beautiful! There were gold glittered mason jars, pumpkins, and rustic signs to direct guests. I especially loved the fingerprint guestbook and the photo booth props! Their three-flavored cake by 'Once Upon A Crumb' was just delicious and beautiful as well! Michael's last name is Hart and the wedding theme was the King and Queen of Hearts. They had a chess board on their gift table with the king and queen pieces standing in the middle. I used those for the ring shot and I just love Michael and Casey's matching king and queen chess piece tattoos! Even their cake had King and Queen crowns on top. I just loved all the unique ideas that Casey came up with! During their portraits, we walked around the community and came across a historic plantation house in the woods. The grounds were open, even though the old home is abandoned, we were able to walk onto the property and get some awesome shots! What a great find! This was probably one of the first homes ever built in the Perry Hall area before it was developed. There are plenty more photos to edit through but for now, I hope you enjoy these few favorites of mine! Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of your big day. Congrats to you both!
